    Week of February 27, 2017 

    All juniors will take the ACT on Tuesday, February 28. Juniors will have a week and a half to complete the ACT prep class for high school credit. 


    In honor of National School Breakfast Week March 6-10, the school cafeteria will have a poster contest.  The best poster will win $50.  For more information, please pick up a packet in the cafeteria near the condiments. 


    Seniors, it's not too late to order your cap and gown.  Go to and search for East Wake High School.


    AP Exam Registration is open now through March 17. To register, go to The exams are at no cost to students. 


    Need extra graduation tickets?  Seniors with no tardies to class from February 13 through the end of the third quarter will receive one additional graduation ticket.  Students with no tardies during 4th quarter will receive an additional 2 tickets.  That's 3 tickets in all for doing what you're supposed to do - be on time to class.


    We would like for parents and students to complete a survey to provide valuable information on how we as a school can improve.  Please go to our website to complete the survey.

  • Student Behavior Incentive

    Starting Tuesday February 14, 2017 through the end of 3rd quarter, students with no lunch detentions, no administrative referrals, and no more than 2 excused absences, will be invited to a special celebration. Students must meet all of the above criteria.
