The Specialist team is planning Banks Road’s first ever “Specialist’s Day” for Wednesday, May 3rd, to celebrate the numerous talents our students have. This event is for students on Tracks 1 & 2. Each class will have two hours to rotate through stations set up by each specialist teacher. WE ARE IN NEED OF SEVERAL PARENT VOLUNTEERS to help make this event a success. Three of Ms. Torrey's students (Katie Naylor, Nicholas Franco, and Melany Torres) have been chosen as Top Ten essay winners from the county in the "Pick up a Book and Read" Carolina Hurricanes Essay contest!
